PARKS ON CANYON LAKE <http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/canyon/Recreation/Parks/Co rpsparks.asp> Canyon Park Beach is open for Day Use only. Canyon Park is open until September 30. Comal Park is a Day Use Only park, and open until September 30. Crane's Mill Park is opened April 1 until September 30. Winter Hours: Oct 1 – Mar 31 (limited camping) North Park is open until November 30. Potter's Creek Park and Overlook Park are open all year. Canyon Park has more than 8 miles of hike & bike trails, open all year. You may bike and/or walk through camping parks for free during daylight hours. Corps of Engineers Information Line & Office Hours: 830.964.3341 ~ Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm Lake Level and River Information Line: 830.964.3342 ~ 24-Hour Recording
FISHING DOCK – Free with 24-hour access; lighted. Located just outside Cranes Mill Park at the west end of FM 2673 near the mouth of the Guadalupe River!
AREA HIKING, BIKING & EQUESTRIAN TRAILS <http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/canyon/Recreation/index.as p> Look for the trails: ~ across Canyon Dam and into North Park ~ along the Guadalupe River just below the Dam ~ within Canyon Park on the north side of Canyon Lake ~ along the lake on Old Hancock Trail Pick up an informational brochure on trails at the Visitor Center.

Here's a few tips for enjoying a safe day on the River: Water and alcohol don't mix. Wear a life jacket. Plan your trip, and trip your plan. Stay hydrated; drink plenty of water. Bring appropriate river gear. Avoid glass and styrofoam on the river. In Case of Emergency: Call 911. Know where you got in and where you plan to get out. Know the name of any nearby businesses or river access points. Familiarize yourself with the river and potential hazards before launching. Plan your trip. CANYON LAKE GORGE Canyon Lake Gorge has OPEN TOUR DATES! Only guided tours are available to see this unique feature carved out by lake flooding in 2002. $10 Admission per person. This is your opportunity to see what others have been talking about, so visit online today to secure your spot. There are Tour Dates available during the months of July, August and September.
